I love contemporary music at mass. Yes, you read that right. I absolutely love contemporary music at Mass. But not that outdated stuff from the 70s. Much of the music written recently is much better.

Don’t ever tell me traddies are stuck in the past!

My thoughts exactly! Our women’s schola sang Kevin Allen’s Ave Sacer Christi Sanguis for the Feast of the Precious Blood. Very awesome music. I’m just glad talent didn’t die out with Vatican II… I was a little worried for about 40 years of my life…
Very cool! I love Kevin Allen’s music. The guy is a genius. By the way, I added one more 2008 piece by Aristotle Esguerra. Note that everything is less than 5 years old…. wow.
Great stuff! I particularly enjoy Kevin Allen’s compositions. Thanks for posting.
Beutiful. I like the “Frank La Rocca” one.
Whoops I mean, that’s ‘beautiful’
